My fun-loving, quirky personality allows my clients to feel comfortable and trust me so that we can work together to challenge eating disorder thinking.
I have successfully treated clients with anorexia nervosa, compulsive exercise and other eating disorders/disordered eating with an approach that combines compassion, problem-solving, and relapse prevention. I genuinely believe full recovery is possible and my clients have the strength within them to overcome disordered eating. I love hearing about my client’s successes in feeling more comfortable with food!
Another one of my specialties is supporting clients in improving their body image through re-discovering appreciation and respect for the body.
I am a passionate advocate of the Health at Every Size © (HAES) movement and a proud anti-diet dietitian. I am also a supporter of the body positivity movement. I specialize in working with teenagers, college students, and young adults and I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
Outside of individual sessions with clients, one of my other passions is running support groups, including meal support groups (I often eat with my clients). I also created the Recovery Lunch Box Cards. We have a page on Etsy so please check it out!
I am motivated to support my clients in tackling eating disorder challenges. And also grateful to help so many people find freedom from food struggles. Let’s work together to reach your goals
